hi!!! im gonna yap about some of my ocs here, starting with my main project, which is planned to be a comic: Stardusters - Children of the Celestials
here's the synopsis: "From the far reaches of space, the Mother Stars blazed the expanse with a Child to carry out their mission until their astral lights faded. Each took it all for naught, forging their own path or challenging the order that was predetermined by the Mothers. Only Sevi remains as the last truly loyal Starduster, yet her doubts begin to fan the flames of dissent."
basically boils down to: eldritch beings force their offspring to do their bidding
the main characters names are: Sevi Methuselah, Reese Ara, Sneden Newt, Cassiopeia, and Gliese (well, she's more like a side/supporting character)
it is sci-fi, of course.
these characters are part of a species i made up: Stardusters. which yeah, i used for the title lolol
sevi is the character that im gonna use for most of the perspective of the comic
i wanna talk more about worldbuiling here, since im hesitant to talk plot stuff for spoiler reasons (not as if anyone would be reading this tho LMFAO)
anyways we could start with the fact that through this story, all my other ocs are connected and are in the same universe, but not the same planet.
u can get around thru spaceships if ur civilation is technologically advanced, which in the comic, there are 2 mentions of this!!! (but as of rn, i havent finished drawing chapter 1, however the script is on chapter 5 which isnt finished yet either lol)
i do have a retconned society/species that didnt have spaceships but traveled thru portals (but like i said theyre retconned bc i ended up not liking the concept all that much hahahah)
there are deities that are beyond every planet, which are the "Mother Stars" mentioned. ofc, since theyre based off of stars, they have lots of power and get to keep the universe running. won't explain more due to plot, and the "Mother Stars" are pretty big plot points in the comic
